To meet the people in Semarang’s demand for Internet connection, the Kadirejo Village Government (Pemdes), Pabelan District, Semarang Regency, developed WiFi by utilizing solar power. The WiFi network is called Pulsa Kadirejo (Pusaka) is being used by more than 10,000 users from 23 villages in Semarang Regency. This was being rolled out due to the geographical location of Kadirejo Village that are surrounded by hils and mountains, which made several areas in the village unable to access the Internet network.
